One characteristic that allowed humanity to develop as it has is communication. Being able to share and exchange ideas on how to improve enabled us to reach this point in history. To communicate, we use different languages, like Spanish to speak among ourselves, English as a foreign language to communicate with the rest of the world, and mathematics, which has served as the language we use to communicate with nature and our environment. But in the 21st century, there's a very powerful and highly important language: the language we use to communicate with machines and computers—programming.

The "Code4Kids: Coding with Roblox" project aims to introduce programming to children and young people in vulnerable and rural schools in Valdivia and the Los Ríos Region. Roblox Studio will be used as a learning tool, fostering logical and computational thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaborative work.

We expect students to acquire the basics of programming and develop crucial skills for today's society.

Technological advancements in medicine related to the study of the human brain, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and general imaging techniques, have shown us that music is one of the few activities that simultaneously activates different areas of the brain in both hemispheres, thus demonstrating its importance for people.

Named "Rock Schools," this project is an initiative from the Fundación para la Educación Innova Siglo 21. It serves as a strategy to actively enhance and develop musical abilities among students in vulnerable and rural schools across Valdivia and the Los Ríos Region, thereby fostering a comprehensive development that goes beyond traditional academics. This is achieved by forming a school band, which will offer students chances to build musical skills, collaborative teamwork, and communication—all vital for success in 21st-century society. Furthermore, students will engage in school life by putting on live performances at various academic events throughout the year.

New generations naturally, almost inherently, integrate various technologies and devices into their daily lives. This makes incorporating diverse technologies and methodologies into learning strategies in educational settings almost a necessity. Our project, "Talking about the Future" aims to strengthen learning across key areas of the Chilean school curriculum, as outlined by the Ministry of Education. We utilize podcasts as a modern, innovative learning tool, empowering students from elementary to high school to create conversations and conduct interviews with professionals from diverse fields (science, literature, logic and mathematics, etc.). This approach will deepen their understanding and cultivate essential 21st-century skills.
